Tomorrow will be the biggest day in Nova Senarica's short history so far. It's election day. The five winners will be elected to the Senarican High Council, and will be directly involved in the running of the country.
There will be definite competition in three of the five districts. In Cashouza, Si Bookman will take on his older brother Owen for the High Council seat. Owen is expected to claim a victory, although a tie is a very real possibility. If a tie does occur, then the winner will be the candidate representing the party with most votes nation-wide will be elected.
In Stratdown, the most interesting contest will be fought between George Dixon, one of the founders of Nova Senarica, and his brother John, the leader of the opposition. The favourite for this seat is the elder brother, who is known as being the more organised of the two. He has also been quoted as saying that he "wouldn't trust his brother with a sandwich, let alone Stratdown."
The nation's largest territory, Asopica, also has competition for its Councillor's seat. Jamie Butler brings a youthful flavour to the election, while Tommy Nunn has shown more activity. It is expected that whomever is elected will be handed a very low-ranking government position.
Elsewhere, Whitworth will be represented by Sam Kelby, the independent candidate, and Deerheath will continue to be represented by current President and founder, Elliott Nesso.
